Mary Foley is President of AASBCR

 


Following graduation from Loyola University in Chicago, Mary started her career with the Bell System at Illinois Bell. Over her 31-year career with Illinois Bell, Ameritech, SBC and AT&T, Mary worked many different jobs across several departments, including Operator Services, Public Relations, Marketing and Sales, Operations, Product Management and Ameritech International in Belgium. After retiring from what was once the Bell System, she taught adult classes in ESL (English as a Second Language) at a local community college, and worked as a Myers-Briggs instructor and a business consultant. She first became involved with AASBCR as a member of the communications team. Eventually she became the editor of the Quarterly Newsletter and monthly bulletins and then VP Communications, before assuming the role of President.

National Retiree Legislative Network
Based in Washington, D.C., the National Retiree Legislative Network (NRLN) is the only nationwide organization solely dedicated to representing the interests of retirees and future retirees. Formed in 2002, the NRLN’s endeavors to secure federal legislation to protect retirees’ employer-sponsored pensions and benefits in addition to keeping Social Security and Medicare strong.
